What is the best casino in vegas for college kids?
I am planning a trip to vegas with a group of my friends and it will be all of our first times going to vegas. Keep in mind that we are all in college and thus don't have exorbitant amounts of money to spend.
I'm going to Vegas tomorrow and I want to try my hand at playing some Craps. Never played, but I've spent some time researching on general rules/strategies/basics, and was wondering if anyone here could point me to a good casino that has lower limit tables ($5ish would be good) so I don't lose too much while learning. I've heard going early in the day is best while the tables are slower. Also, I've heard some casinos actually offer lessons earlier in the day as well, but have no idea which ones do this (if they even do).. Lastly, any advice for a beginner? :-)

What's the best casino to work for in Vegas? Is it better to work for a Culinary Union Casino or Stations?
Im looking at getting into a bartending career in vegas and might have an in for bar porter at Red Rock. I have heard some really good things about stations (good healthcare, tips etc.) but the fact that they're extremely anti union is making me a little skeptical and worried. Some people say they love it and some people say they hate it. Im usually pro union but have heard some iffy things about the culinary union in vegas. I know some people who worked at stations and loved it but I wanted to make sure they haven't just been brainwashed by their anti-union tactics. Would I be better off joining the union or just taking the job at Red Rock?

Just won a seat to the 2014 WSOP MAIN EVENT in my local home game
The hosts of my local home game put together an awesome idea of doing a thirty person, multiple tournament series with a winner take all final table for the Main Event seat. 30 people entered and we each put up $400 so that there would be some extra money for travel and hotel for the winner. We played four tournaments just for points over about three months (although we did put up side money for each tourney). After the four tourneys the top ten in points would play a deep stack final table with a really slow structure to determine who got the seat. The really interesting part is that the winner gets 60% of themselves and the other 29 people get to split the other 40% of any profits from the Main -- so everyone has something to root for. Well, I made the final table and after a 12 hour battle managed to bink the tourney and win the seat. So, here is my point -- is anyone else planning on playing the Main or just planning to be in Vegas during that time? I will be alone for at least some of my trip and would be happy to meet some redditors. What are the best casinos in Vegas to play 1/2 NL during the WSOP? Any pointers? I've played about 7 WSOP-C events with some decent results but this is my first WSOP event and certainly the largest buyin I've played.
